I am a minister and everyday I am reminded that the word “minister” means servant. On most Sundays I am blessed to share how following Jesus makes a difference and then try to go and live what I preach. I like to tell people that my worst message is still better than I live. But I must share in order to live better as a follower of Jesus.
My wife, Karen is a great mother of two children, Josh, the adventurer, and Christin, the tender-hearted. I am a proud father and am humbled by their faith perspectives and questions. I enjoy the why questions about life, reflecting on what it means to follow Jesus in a complex world and be in relationship with others in a community of faith.
